Sony Interactive Entertainment is giving away one of its best game on the PlayStation console. This is in addition to two games the company is offering this month to PS plus subscribers. Users with a PlayStation Network account can access the PlayStation 4-exclusive game through the digital download codes.

Sony is offering the free copies of Astro Bot Rescue Mission VR game to a few randomly selected PlayStation 4 owners. “No catch, no strings… We’re just giving you a free PlayStation VR game,” said the company as per the image of the email that was shared on the official PlayStation 4 sub-reddit. It is widely considered as one of the best virtual reality games ever.

The Japanese company has not provided any details about how many copies the company is giving away. The user will get an email with a voucher code which can be used at PlayStation Store for accessing the free game while the download codes are redeemable until December 2019.

The VR game is not freely available to everyone and is still unclear how the company is providing the code. Reddit users said that the freebie is available to even those who do not have any PSVR which maybe for enticing the customers.

Astro Bot: Rescue Mission VR game, one of the most popular titles on the console, has also received many VR Game of the Year awards last year. The game, which was released in October last year, is currently available in the PlayStation Store for $20.

Sony is currently providing two free games every month for all PS4 owners with a PS Plus subscription. Wipeout Omega Collection and Sniper Elite 4 are the free game titles for this month while the company will announce the games for September on August 28.
