If you own an iPhone, chances are that you’ve experienced a cracked screen at some point. When your screen is broken and beyond repair, you need to get it fixed quickly. You might be tempted to just buy a refurbished phone from Apple or use a third-party repair option. However, these may not be the best options for your phone’s specific case or warranty status. The best way to get a new iPhone in one piece is by hiring someone with the skills and equipment necessary for professional repairs like those done at Dupont Cool Springs Dental Care Services.

What Are Your Options for a Broken Screen?

If you own an iPhone 6 or newer model, the first thing to do when your screen breaks is to make an appointment with Apple. They’ll replace the screen for free as long as it isn’t cracked beyond repair . If your phone is still under warranty, this is your best option by far. Cracked screens that aren’t fixable should be sent back to Apple directly so as to avoid damage. The cost of sending a phone back and forth like this can add up quickly, but it’s better than buying a refurbished iPhone if you want a brand new device. It’s also the easiest and most economical way to get a new iPhone.

If your phone is out of warranty or you’d like to avoid Apple altogether, there are some other options available. If your phone is under warranty, it might still be covered if used in an accident or reparable through AppleCare+. However, it’s also possible that your phone won’t be replaced at all. This can be the case if you’ve already had your phone repaired with a third-party option before and dropped it again. If this has happened, it’s important to note that Apple will only replace the screen for cracked iPhones once . If your phone is still under warranty, you may have more luck getting it replaced. If you don’t want to do this, you can look into third-party options for a non-warranty repair.

Where Should You Take Your Phone for Repairs?

While there are a number of options for your iPhone screen repair , it’s best to go with the professionals. They’ll be able to fix even the most damaged screens in one piece or quickly replace them with new ones. The best part is that they won’t void your warranty and they’ll work hard to make sure that your phone meets Apple’s standards once repairs are done.

Repairing a cracked iPhone screen can help

I hope you’re reading this because I’m going to tell you the fun little secret of how repairing a cracked iPhone screen can help! It really is that easy.

The first step is to replace the cracked glass that’s broken, and it’s done by buffing out any debris with a q-tip. Clean it up carefully so as not to sand off the edges, then pour about three drops of water into a cup or glass and use your fingernail to create a small well in the center of the crack (don’t pour water onto your phone). Finally, drop a tiny bit of mineral spirits into the well you’ve created. This re-enables the water sensor so your iPhone won’t try to turn itself off when it senses water.

Then we need to put on a new screen. There’s some little bubbles that appear at the top and bottom because when you press them out, it will go all around the edges of the glass and eliminate any other bubbles that might have formed there. Also, when you get ready to put in your new iPhone screen, make sure to line up all four corners of the phone so that they go down correctly into place. There’s a little ledge that you need to be careful to line up.

The last thing you need to do is make sure the screen is correctly seated into place, and then put some clear tape on the edges of the phone so that it doesn’t fall out. Just make sure all four corners of the new screen touch down properly first, and then press all around the edges of the screen until it snaps into place. Then you’re done!

So now there’s no reason for your cracked iPhone screen to be a problem anymore!

Thanks for reading my blog, and have a good one.

I just cracked my screen on the edge. If you are very careful to not go over the edge when breaking it, you can use heat it to put it back together again. A friend did this and it worked quite well. I took the back panel off, put a small amount of super glue on the screen crack, carefully heated up the edge with a hair dryer and microwaved it for a few mins. This worked well since there was enough glue to hold it together while also being flexible enough to be able to push in all around without snapping like glass would have been.
